Love Brownies was founded by Chantal Teal in 2009. She is the company’s Head Baker. Her impressive background includes five years spent studying catering and management and a further decade as a chef in restaurants around Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom. Initially focused in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, Love Brownies has become a feature of the high street. They offer luxury chocolate brownies, cakes and beautifully packaged chocolate gifts along with freshly brewed coffee from their premises in central Ilkley.
Having found success locally and online, with Great Taste awards to prove it, Love Brownies is seeking to appoint franchise partners at a national level. The selection of franchisees is seen to be a natural progression for the company’s growth plans. You do not need to be a baker; you just need to have a passion for chocolate and a willingness to work hard and learn!
Why our brownies?
Well, obviously we think they’re delicious or we wouldn’t be selling them. We are the only brownie company to have ever been awarded 3 gold stars by the Great Taste awards.
But how they’re made is also important – and that’s individually by hand, with love, using the best, most natural ingredients we can find.
We set up our little cafe because we love good food and now with a new bakery in place we are hoping you will join us. We love the luxury of beautifully wrapped gifts – and we love making people happy. It’s simple really.
